Rackspace shares our secret sauce recipe for customer support
When they dished out ‘passion for customers’ Rackspace was front of the queue with the biggest baskets we could find! But it’s not just our customers that we want to see supported Fanatically. We’re on a mission to change the mindset of British business and help others set the bar high too. This month alone we’ve hosted three seminars – with over 60 companies - sharing our approach to customer service with our peers. We believe in it so strongly that we want others to take what we have learned and apply it themselves. We want everyone to experience the feeling that somebody cares and actually wants to help, so we’re connecting with kindred spirits and developing and sharing our knowledge and practices. We believe that small steps like these lead to big change.
Last week we held a joint event with the Customer Service Training Network (CSTN) at our Hayes Headquarters. Our delegates were given the opportunity to learn first hand how companies like Rackspace succeed by providing excellent customer service every day.
Our very own Darren Norfolk & Colin Cox talked the delegates through the Rackspace customer service experience, Fanatical Support, to show how we succeed at providing excellent customer service everyday to our clients.
Other speakers included:
- Tim Robson from Coracle Learning who keeps his customer service ‘simple, memorable and doable’.
- Bridge Training & Events’ Dale Smith who demonstrates how to achieve customer advocacy through employee engagement
- Geoff Langston from Arizion on how to keep your team motivated and your customer with you as time change
- Nina Maan-Ahearne and Julie Snow from Family Mosaic shared some of the strategy that helped them bring home the silverware at the Customer Service Team Training Awards this year.
