Today we launch the beta version of the UK’s first major cloud infrastructure which will include Cloud Files, Cloud Servers and add a new platform to the dedicated hosting platform already offered in the region.  The cloud will be hosted in our Slough data centre and will give our UK customers a flexible pay-as-you-go IT infrastructure with 24/7 Fanatical Support and state of-the-art equipment.

Gartner predict that 20% of organisations will have all their IT infrastructure in the cloud by 2012. We are bringing the cloud over to the country due to the high demand from companies in the UK, and we’ve got quite a few eager businesses already signed up and ready to go live.

Cloud computing offers many advantages over traditional in-house IT infrastructure. Businesses do not have to pay for expensive upgrades to their equipment as they just rent whatever they need; when they don’t need computing power any more, they can simply turn it off and stop paying for it.
